Moonopoly is a daily game of chance with the only entry requirement being to hold more than 0.10 ETH worth of Moonopoly ($MOON). Holders will be able to choose one of the Moonopoly chance cards, and win a prize.
Prizes range from tax-free trading for 24-hours to an entire Bitcoin. There are two possible outcomes from the game which are not so favourable, i.e. double tax for 24-hours and winning nothing. The majority of taxes collected from the trading of $MOON will be used for prize funding.
For those unable to afford 0.10 ETH, you will be eligible for our mini-game which will launch approximately one week after launch and will have smaller prizes.

We've listed some frequently asked questions we received when speaking to investors about the Moonopoly project.

We will be doing a semi-stealth launch. The contract will only be released when we're ready to go live. This is to avoid sniper bots who have an unfair advantage over the common investor. We will also have other anti-bot measures.
Liquidity will initially be locked for one week. This is because if anything goes wrong, we won't have to wait a month to relaunch - no one wants their money to be locked up for a month waiting for a token to relaunch. Once we have a smooth launch, liquidity will immediately be extended to one month, and futher extensions will happen upon reaching marketcap milestones. Check out or docs for the specific milestones.
We want to be accommodating to all investors in Moonopoly, as every investor big or small is responsible for a project's success. As a result, we'll be launching 'Moonopoly Mini' between weeks one and two. Moonopoly mini is for the investors who have purchased less than 0.10 ETH, and you'll be able to win prizes bi-weekly of lower value than the main attraction.
Our short-term goals are to have a smooth and successful launch, growing hype in anticipation of the Moonopoly beta release days after launch. From there, we aim to build a strong community who are being rewarded with a range of prizes as a result of believing in the Moonopoly project.
In short, yes. We are planning on doxxing upon reaching a $10M marketcap. Once we do, we'll be hosting a livestream on Twitter spaces where we introduce each member of the team. After this, we'll be doing a third-party KYC.
There is no minimum amount to play Moonopoly Mini. If you hold over 0.15 ETH worth of $MOON you will be able to play the main game, but not Moonopoly Mini.
Ownership will not be renounced for the simple reason being that we have declining taxes, and if we were to renounce our contract - taxes will remain at the slightly inflated levels we are imposing for the first 24-hours of launch. We believe that real projects don't renounce.

Our long-term goals are to develop an in-browser, investor vs investor, Moonopoly board game where each player stakes an amount of ETH, and the winner takes the ETH.
No - Moonopoly is completely self-funded. We decided against a presale or private sale as this usually causes charts to dump on the initial pump at launch, and can ruin a project before it even has a chance.

We're adopting a Provably Fair system, to ensure every holder has a fair chance at some of the top prizes whenever they pick their card. The probabilities can be found on our Docs, here.
Provably fairness is the process which allows holders from all over the world to manually and personally verify the fairness of the games that they're playing on our site. In order to achieve this, games that work on the blockchain use a special code called the provably fair algorithm.
A 'roll' is generated, from 0-100. For example, the probability of winning the $1,000 prize is 0.4% - so you would need to roll between 0.21 and 0.4 out of 100 to win. The rolls are completely random and cannot be influenced by us, and using the Provably Fair system, you will be able to verify this.
Below is the table outlining the probabilities of winning each prize on both Moonopoly and Moonopoly Mini. Once you've chosen a Moonopoly Chance card, you'll be able to verify that the result you received was not subject to foul-play via verification with the Provably Fair system.

You'll have a choice of three cards, and flipping the chosen one over will reveal your prize. Depending on the game, Moonopoly or Moonopoly Mini, what will be under those cards will be completely random. You will have to pay gas fees upfront, however, the prize you claim will include the gas fee, refunding you.
$MOON will be adopting a tax that reduces upon hitting specific milestones. As Moonopoly is a token focused primarily on giving away prizes to its holders, in order to ensure Moonopoly's initial success, we'll be allocating the majority of taxes for prize funding.
